• Last day to register to vote for the Primary
• Last day to change party affiliation
• Registered unaffiliated voters may declare a major political party affiliation at the polls for the Primary Election

July 19

• Ballots for permanent mail-in and absentee ballot requests will be mailed

August 2

• Early Voting begins in County Clerk’s office, M-F, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
• Accessible voting machines will be available for Early Voting, as well as paper optical scan ballots

August 3

• Last day to apply for a mail-in ballot for the Primary Election, if the ballot is to be mailed

August 6

• Last day for early voting at the County Clerk’s office, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
• Last day to apply for a mail-in ballot for the Primary Election, if the ballot is picked up in person

August 10

• Primary Election
• Polls will be open 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Mail-in ballots must be returned by 7:00 pm in order to be counted
• Drop off locations for mail-in ballots:
County Clerk’s office and Idaho Springs City Clerk’s office—7:00 am to 7:00 pm
